TRENDS TO LOOK FOR IN 2020

There are many different trends that are expected for the coming year, but these are a few trends thatmost seem to agree with and have already been seen, and therefore I believe will actually be seen in
2020 and maybe for years to come. That said, just because it's a trend doesn't mean you have to use it
in your home. The budget decorator should be aware of this and be picky when it comes to trends.
END TO ALL WHITE KITCHENS

When looking up Trends for the New Year I found so many for kitchen, I thought that I must do a
separate post on kitchen Trends. The era of all-white kitchens is over. Now Say color in the
kitchen.is trending. There will be a more two-tone kitchen and an introduction to blue color
cabinetry. Painting your kitchen cabinets with a trendy color is a quick and easy way to update the
look of your kitchen. Apparently, those that paint their cabinets won't be alone this year.
DECORATING WITH NATURAL ELEMENTS

Bits of nature will creep into the home. There will be more environmentally friendly furniture and
decorations. A lot of small plants are also going to be trending, sorta like in the picture above. One
plant in particular, I saw trending was the olive tree.
VINTAGE ACCENTS

Vintage accents will be seen around the home. I'm not talking about going full vintage design, just
one or two pieces. This can be able to done within a weekend of visits to thrift stores, flea markets,
and garage sales to find the perfect piece.
ART

We will be seeing more of the quote canvas as wall art.. This holiday season
I've seen an explosion of this wall art, even purchased a piece. Three-piece like the one above
artwork has exploded into "several piece" artwork and will be just as popular, if not more in the
upcoming year. Abstract designs will continue to be around as well.
RATTAN AND WICKER FURNITURE

Wicker and Rattan Furniture will be more of an indoor presence in the coming year. This Rattan is
largely incorporated into functional furniture and decorative items. Rattan will be on everything from
headboards to chairs, and even storage baskets, I even have seen a Rattan Cane Plant stand.
COLORS

Classic blue can be pair with several colors, therefore I think it's a safe bet to say classic blue will be
seen often in designs for 2020. Colors that will also be seen are colors of nature.
